Michal Kadleček was born in July 1968 in Prague. From 1990 to 1993 he taught aesthetics and literature at a private high school in Prague-Libeň. From 1994 to 2000 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the atelier of Monumental Sculpture with Professor Aleš Veselý. He has exhibited in Bohemia and Germany and is represented in private collections in Bohemia, Slovakia, England, France, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland and the United States. Since 2000 he has been living in Vysočina near Chotěboř.
